Today, our Innovators honored the lives lost and the heroes who courageously responded on September 11, 2001.

Innovators watched age-appropriate documentaries and animated videos to learn about the events of that day. Our principal also made schoolwide announcements marking the times of each plane strike, the fall of the Twin Towers, and the heroic actions of the passengers and crew aboard Flight 93, who prevented another attack before the plane crashed in Pennsylvania.

In art class, our Innovators completed commemorative coloring pages as they reflected on the importance of courage, service, unity, and remembrance.

We will never forget the victims, their families, our brave first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

GTW Celebrates 901 Day!

Our Innovators and staff showed up in their best 901 gear today, proudly repping the city we call home! And with temperatures hitting 100°, MemPops came through with the perfect treat—refreshing popsicles for everyone! ☀️🧊

Learning, laughter, Memphis pride, and a little something sweet—that’s how the Bobcats celebrate 901 Day!

🎬**Coming soon to Netflix: “Coach Cohran: Surviving Student Athletics”**

Being a Coach and Athletic Director sounds simple… until you actually have to manage the student-athletes. Practices. Games. Uniforms. Eligibility. Transportation. Schedules. Parents. And, of course, the athletes themselves.

Coach Cohran decided it was time to tell HIS side of the story-Netflix documentary style. Because managing Bobcat Athletics is MORE THAN A NOTION! But somehow, Coach keeps the teams moving, the games going, and our Innovators on track.

Give Coach Cohran some love in the comments… because after watching this, we think he may need it. 😂
