The event will begin with a presentation by one of the study’s co-authors, Dr. Jason Grissom of Vanderbilt University, who will share an overview of the research and its conclusions about the impact of principals and why they are so critical for student outcomes. Then, Jeremy C. Park, CEO of cityCURRENT, will moderate a virtual panel discussion focused on spotlighting some of the collaborations, lessons learned and key takeaways for unlocking the power of leadership to transform schools in Memphis and across our nation. The event is geared toward business, education and community leaders who want to learn more about how success is being created in our schools and how we can all work together to build more success.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that we lost our beloved Pre-K teacher, Laura Freeman. She touched the lives of many of our students and families and will be greatly missed. A message was sent through the school's phone system from Principal Foster. However, in case you did not receive it, we wanted to post it, as well.
As arrangements are being made, we will post any updates with the family's permission. We thank all of you who have already reached out to school to offer condolences. Please keep her family, loved ones, and the school in your thoughts and prayers.
Our Grandparents SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT!!! Thanks so much to all of the grandparents & family members who came out & made our scholars feel so loved. ❤️ We were happy to see you & truly appreciate each & every one of you.

Hey Bulldogs! We are down to 83 students with books still out, which is much better. However, you can help us bring the number down even lower by returning library books you have, or paying the replacement cost. Remember, report cards may be held and registration held up if this is not completed. Thanks for all you do!

Parents,
This is your Librarian, Miss Shipman. I have sent home letters today for those who have books out. Please assist your child in finding their book and returning it. You guys are Bulldog Awesome! Thanks for all you do.
Parents,
We are looking for about 134 books that haven't returned home. Could you please help? Thanks so much!
Parents,
AS we approach the end of the school year, I am asking for your help. Part of my job as Librarian is to do an inventory of the books in our collection. I need all books to be returned by May 6. Please, if you are able, help our scholars find and return their Library books. If you are not sure about whether or not your scholar has a book out, you may contact his/her teacher or me at school or by email at [email protected]. If books are not returned, Report cards CAN be held and registration delayed. Thanks for all you do!
Miss Shipman
