Empowering students with mentorship, academics, and community support to help them succeed on and off the court. Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a completely unique and innovative alternative high school for over-aged, under-credited youth that will combine a rigorous academic curriculum with a hands-on, real-world vocational program, and an award-winning college readiness program that

A major milestone for Urban Dove and Memphis! We are proud to celebrate the approval of Urban Dove Team Charter School Memphis I and II, including the significant endorsement of both applications by MSCS staff.

Congratulations to our founding school leaders Terri Gaston and James Bacchus, and thank you to the families, community leaders and supporters, funders, MSCS, and Groundswell Network who helped make this possible.

I enjoyed spending part of my Saturday representing Urban Dove Team Charter School Memphis at The Memphis Lift
Saving Our Own Children community event.
It was great connecting with families, community partners, and young people from across the city. Events like this are a reminder that supporting our children takes all of us working together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to learn more about Urban Dove and our mission. I’m excited about the relationships being built as we continue our work to create new opportunities for Memphis students.
