This spring, fourth graders spent the day “Walkin’ in Memphis” as they explored the landmarks that make our city so special!
After studying Memphis history and culture in class, students toured iconic spots including AutoZone Park, the FedEx Forum, Beale Street, Peabody Hotel, the Orpheum, Graceland, and the Memphis Botanic Gardens. From music and sports to history and the arts, students learned about culture and history in the place they call home!

This spring students from our 8th grade class had a wonderful opportunity to partner with 901 Pops to deliver flowers to local nursing homes throughout our community. Through their kindness, smiles, and conversations, students brightened the day of so many residents while learning the value of serving others with compassion and love.

This special recognition was sponsored by Memphis City Beautiful, Landers Ford, and WREG News Channel 3.
Our garden spaces continue to provide students with opportunities to explore, create, learn, and enjoy the outdoors, and we are so honored to see this project recognized by our community. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Garden Fort a reality!
