It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Grear. To know Gary was to know his love for Memphis—and especially for its tennis community. His warmth, energy, and passion will be profoundly missed, yet we rejoice in the assurance that he is now with his Lord and Savior, fully healed.
Gary’s legacy lives on through his son, Matthew, and through String N Swing, where the game he so deeply cherished will continue to inspire generations to come. Our doors will remain open, and we look forward to continuing to be your trusted home for all things tennis and pickleball.
