Gen 38-40
Understand as you begin to read this story in chapter 38 that true facts are related but it is not
an endorsement or approval of their actions. God details to us the error of man as well as
principle of truth. Here we have a truth story revealing heartache that occurs because of wrong
decisions and choices of men.
The story of Joseph should inspire all of us to serve and trust God during the worst of
adversities. Whatever is taking place in your life, God is there and He is working, so trust Him.
Love you all!

Gen 32-34
Genesis 32:27-28 (KJV) 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And
he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with
God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Doesn’t matter who you were God can use who you are if you will give your life to Him.
God can also renew broken relationships as He did with Jacob and Esau.
Love you all!

Job 24-28
Job 27:3-6 (KJV) 3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. 5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. 6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
Job’s “friends” continue to tear him down but he says no matter what they say or what happens to him, he will not turn against the Lord as they say he has already done. Job 28:28 (KJV) 28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
God is God and we must understanding that He knows what is best for us.
Love you all!

Job 21-23
Job 21:7 (KJV) 7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
In verses 7-15 Job tells these accusers that their argument is not valid for there are plenty of wicked that do not suffer as he has suffered. They do not suffer and yet reject God. He is suffering and does not reject God. The key is not the suffering, the key is the faith in God or no faith in God. Job 23:10-12 (KJV) 10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
As we fast let us have the heart of Job, that His words will be esteemed more than our necessary food.
Love you all!

Job 17-20
1. Job is going through a period where it seems he is giving up. He seems to accept an “it is what it is” attitude. He does not know what he has done wrong but nevertheless he is in this condition, so he does not know what to do differently to correct it. It is during these times of darkness that we must trust what we cannot see.
2. We have to address each chapter for 18 Bildad in his pride continues to attack and condemn Job. It is sad when people are going through struggles that it is the tendency to assume the worst about them. Only God knows the heart and only God knows His purpose in another’s life.
3. Through it all Job says Job 19:23-25 (KJV) 23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock forever! 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
Well Job, they were written down that they might help man through every generation.
Let us learn to trust God in our worst of times.
Love you all!
