Parents, if you would like to order your own Race Day/Field Day t-shirt to match your student's grade level shirt, today's the day! Your shirt(s) will be delivered to your child's homeroom before field day. Orders are due by this Friday, September 4, by 12:00 noon!

Make sure you enter the student's name and homeroom with your order! Go to http://holy-rosary-school-101055.square.site/ and then follow these steps:

- Select the correct shirt by grade.
- Select the size.
- Add to cart.
- Continue to payment.
- Go to ADD A NOTE FOR THE SELLER and include your child's name and homeroom.
- Place order.

No need to order for your students! All students will receive their t-shirts prior to Field Day on October 2.

In today’s , let’s meet Drew Shoemaker, our new Director of Information Technology. Drew received his bachelor’s degree in business science from Purdue University in northwest Indiana and is currently pursuing an MBA in information assurance, which is scheduled to be completed in 2028. He has worked as an accountant and IT support professional for his entire career thus far and is very excited to have the opportunity to serve the staff and students of Holy Rosary and provide a reliable, safe, and up-to-date information technology experience.

Drew is a cradle Catholic and a Knight of Columbus, so the opportunity to put his skills and talents to use in a Catholic institution was something he was happy to accept. He lives in Bartlett with his wife Ariel, who is a 3rd grade teacher at St. Ann Catholic School, his four-year old son Jack who also attends St. Ann, and two spoiled rotten shih tzus Murphy and Tiko. Welcome, Drew!!

Our local Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts have been busy helping to keep our campus looking good! They recently worked on the preschool playground raking mulch and also cleaned up the parking lot and the sidewalk in front of the church after the storms last weekend. They definitely earned the snow cones that they had after all of their hard work! Many thanks to the Scouts!

It’s , and today we want to introduce you to one of our new teachers. Meet Mrs. Lisa Johnson, our new 4th/5th grade teacher in The Learning Center. She was born in Alabama, but as a self-reported Air Force brat, she has lived in many different places. She says the most interesting was Guam. Mrs. Johnson has been in education for 35 years in many different capacities. She has been a classroom teacher, counselor, director of a learning center, and director of an intervention program.

Lisa has been married to her husband Earl for 26 years. She has degrees from the University of Alabama and Mississippi University for Women. Their daughter Elise graduated from Mississippi State University and currently works there in the football department.

Lisa and Earl love watching football and going camping and have lived in Memphis for 20 years. They have a 13-year-old dog, two puppies, and two cats. Join us in welcoming Lisa to the Holy Rosary family!

We told you a little about food truck Friday coming up this week the night before Memphis Runs for Autism, but we want to give you more of the delicious details! We have FIVE food trucks scheduled to be there!! To add to the festive atmosphere, there will be games for the kiddos and music.

If you aren't interested in running/walking, supporting food truck Friday is a great way to support the event, as a portion of all proceeds from food and beverage sales will benefit The ANGEL Program. And if you are participating in the run/walk, this is a great opportunity to pick up your race packet from 4-7 pm.

Whether you're craving a quesadilla, a good old cheeseburger, or a snow cone to beat this crazy Memphis heat, we have you covered! Join us in the school parking lot 5-8 pm for dinner. See you there!
