Good Afternoon Team and Family,

I wanted to wait before I posted this news to give our team an opportunity to reach out to staff, parents, and students.

It is with immense sadness that I inform you of the passing of Dr. Shirley Graham. Dr. Graham passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

Dr. Graham had an incredible impact across the Region as she worked at several of our schools throughout her tenure, most recently at KIPP Memphis Preparatory Middle School (KMPM) as an 8th grade math teacher and Grade Level Chair. Since beginning with us in 2014, her love for her scholars was evident as she went above and beyond the call of duty to help them grow and succeed. She also cherished her role as a mentor and advisor to her colleagues.

We do not yet have any information on services at this time.

Dr. Graham’s legacy will live on through her students and all she reached!
