Tennessee could forfeit $60M in federal food aid for low-income families during coronavirus pandemic

Please help spread the word! All SCS students are eligible for this! $250 worth of food per child - let's not let it go to waste!
Link to application is in the article but I'll share in a comment for ease/paywall. Times are only going to get tougher for many TN families so take the help if there is any chance that you can use it - doing so not only helps your family but will help ensure the federal government continues to give TN adequate relief funds to help all families in TN.
"In Tennessee, families can receive around $250 per child to cover the cost of meals missed at school in March, April and May. The money, deposited on a payment card, can be spent at grocery stores and places where EBT cards are currently accepted." Tennessee, unlike many states, is requiring an application process to receive the funds.
