Greater Praise Christian Academy GPCA : Empowering families in underserved communities through affordable faith-based education. In many ways we are extension of family and church.

Greater Praise Christian Academy (GPCA)l not only incorporates morals and ethics into every aspect of learning, but we provide excellence in academic achievement. Our smaller class sizes and low teacher-student ratio allow Greater Praise to meet the need of students when they are failing or at- risk of social calamities. With an independent approach to learning, the school takes the student where he or she is in learning instead of where it is thought they should be. An individualized education plan (IEP) is assigned to each student in which their individual abilities are assessed. Students are given diagnostic test to determine their appropriate placement for the correct class. Upon being placed in the proper classes, students are monitored with assessments, personalized teaching, and peer groups to aid them in succeeding in passing their courses. Consequently, we are able to provide them with the personal attention, and encouragement that they deserve. We often say: We are not a school, but a family

“ P” is for Prayer

10/07/2026

Our Upper School Innovators showed OUT in chapel today! Under Mr Calvin Davis direction, they sang “I Need You to Survive,” and Zack Maclin shared God’s love through SOAP: Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer.

From Mr. Davis’s discipleship classes to the chapel stage, our Innovators are using their gifts and growing in the knowledge of God. This is what we prayed for. 💙💛

Congratulations, Mr. Blaylock! 💙💛

Congratulations, Mr. Blaylock! 💙💛

🌴Welcome to the Beach, Cam Blaylock.

The Memphis native brings experience across every level of the college game, with stops at Memphis, Trinity Valley, Tennessee State and most recently UTSA. The defensive lineman earned All-Conference honors at Trinity Valley before putting together a strong season at Tennessee State with 32 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

Last season at UTSA, Blaylock appeared in all 13 games, adding 13 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and three QB hurries.

Now he’s bringing that experience to San Diego.
