🚨 NATO's top military commander delivered a warning Monday that was aimed squarely at Moscow, even though he never said the word Russia.
The speaker was U.S. Air Force General Alexus Grynkewich, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and he spoke at the opening session of the Warsaw Security Forum in Poland. He laid out precisely what NATO would do if it were attacked. The alliance would "block the initial attack," and if that attack persisted, NATO would "blunt it and prevent any enemy advance," and then "break the enemy's forces" if required. Any such attack, he said, would prove "utterly futile."
And he made clear the response would not stop at the troops doing the shooting. NATO would target, in his words, "anything and everything that supports, sustains and controls that force."
