Leadership Preparatory Charter School takes on the Hill! 💛💙✨

Last week, our scholars proudly represented Leadership Preparatory Charter School at the Tennessee Charter School Center (TCSC) Day on the Hill in Nashville, held at the historic Cordell Hull Building and the Tennessee State Capitol.

This was more than just a visit, it was a powerful experience in civic leadership. Our scholars had the opportunity to meet with state legislators, share their personal stories, and highlight the excellence happening every day at The Prep.

Moments like these empower our scholars to find their voice, advocate for educational opportunities, and showcase the amazing things that are taking place in charter schools across Tennessee.

We couldn’t be more proud of how our scholars carried themselves with professionalism, confidence, and pride. They truly represented what it means to LEAD!

✨ Our Annual Family Love Ball ✨

What a beautiful reminder of what makes our school community so special. Our Annual Family Love Ball was more than a celebration, it was a reflection of the love, support, and connection that define the LPCS family. 💛💙

At LPCS, family means showing up for one another, celebrating each scholars growth, and building relationships that extend beyond the classroom. Seeing our students dressed up, smiling, laughing, and sharing the evening with the people who support them most was truly unforgettable.

Moments like these remind us that education is not just about academics, it’s about community. It’s about parents, caregivers, educators, and scholar coming together to create a place where every child feels valued, encouraged, and loved. 🌟

Thank you to all the families, staff, and volunteers who helped make this night so special. The joy in the room was a powerful reminder that when families and schools come together, amazing things happen. 🤠

We celebrated the joy and power of reading as part of National Read Across America! Literacy is the foundation for learning, imagination, and opportunity. When children read, they open doors to new worlds, ideas, and possibilities that help shape their future.

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful guest readers who took time out of their day to share stories with our students. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and love for reading made today truly special and memorable for our learners. 💛💙

We were also thrilled to have a few talented authors on campus who shared and read from their own published books with our students. Hearing stories directly from the people who wrote them made the experience even more exciting and inspiring for our young readers!

Moments like these remind us that when a community comes together to support literacy, we help inspire a lifelong love of reading in every child. 💫

Join us as we celebrate National Read Across America Day, a powerful opportunity to spark the joy of reading and empower our scholars to grow as thinkers, leaders, and lifelong learners. Through books, scholars explore new ideas, build confidence, strengthen vocabulary, and expand their understanding of the world. By promoting daily reading habits and meaningful literacy experiences, we equip them with the tools to succeed academically, and to use their voices with purpose and impact.
