Big news — we’re expanding our eligibility! The National Teachers League (NTL) was born out of Man Up to extend this work beyond men of color and open the door to anyone called to serve students in schools.

NTL creates pathways not only for future teachers, but also for healthcare professionals, CTE leaders, and more — including roles in counseling & social work, speech pathology, IT, school leadership, and other careers serving students.

Participants receive full support along the way — from 100% tuition coverage to coaching and job placement.

Man Up Teacher Fellowship had the opportunity to spend time at Holly Springs High School and Ashland High School—and it meant more than just showing up.

We were honored to award scholarships at both schools—an investment in what’s ahead and a reminder to students of what’s possible.

At Ashland, we were especially grateful to partner with Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church to pour into students together, and Keith Baird, Class of ‘93 for contributing to the Class of ‘93 Legacy Scholarship at Ashland High School.

Spaces like these remind us why this work matters—presence, consistency, and showing students what’s possible. The impact is in the conversations, the connections, and the seeds planted.
