A big thank you to all the alumni who joined us for the CSM Alumni Reunion last night. It was a great time to reconnect with friends, teachers, and the community. We're incredibly proud of all the achievements our alumni have made since their time at Collegiate!

From college acceptances and scholarships to leadership, service, and academic success, The Collegiate School of Memphis Class of 2026 has continued to embody the mission and values of CSM in remarkable ways.

These accomplishments would not be possible without the support of the entire Collegiate community. Thank you to the parents, faculty, staff, donors, mentors, volunteers, and community partners who have invested in these scholars throughout their journey. Your support has helped open doors and create opportunities for this graduating class.

We look forward to the impact these new alumni will continue to make in their communities beyond Collegiate. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

On Saturday, May 2nd, our music scholars traveled to the Magic Spring Music Festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Collegiate Concert Choir and student-led modern band combo “Velvet Joy” both received Superior Ratings in performance. After they received their awards, they enjoyed a well earned day in the park. Congrats, CSM Music Scholars! Keep up the great work!

Throughout Teacher Appreciation Month, our faculty and staff were blessed by the generosity of so many individuals and organizations in the Collegiate community. From donuts and coffee to snacks, sweet treats, and teacher favorites like flair pens, every gesture reminded our educators how valued they are.

Thank you to Church of the Incarnation, Orion Financial , Ramblin' Joe's Coffee Roasters , and Collegiate parents who took the time to celebrate and support our teachers this month.

When Collegiate alumni succeed, Memphis grows stronger. Roughly 75% of our graduates remain in Memphis and go on to become teachers, entrepreneurs, engineers, leaders, and more who shape our city’s future. Making a gift to our Launch a Leader initiative is more than just a donation, it’s an investment in the next generation of Memphis leaders.

This initiative ensures that students not only get to college, but also have the guidance, mentorship, and resources they need to finish strong and return to uplift the communities they love.

At last night’s Baccalaureate, the Collegiate community gathered to lift up the Class of 2026 in worship and prayer as they prepare for life after high school. A special thank you to our guest speaker, Jonathan Torres, Chair of C12 Business Forums and a member of the Collegiate Board of Directors, who shared an encouraging message reminding our graduates of the importance of surrounding themselves with friends who guide them toward Jesus and challenged them to be that kind of friend for others as well. We’re proud to stand with our newest alumni as they step into life beyond Collegiate.

Scholars in Ms. Rice’s Advanced and AP 3D Art classes had the opportunity to work with Memphis-based sculptor Desmond Lewis, carving sand block molds and participating in a live aluminum pour. Desmond is a nationally recognized artist whose work is included in collections such as the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the Carolina Bronze Sculpture Park. He has also completed residencies at institutions like Skowhegan and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. We are grateful to artists like Desmond for sharing his time, expertise, and process with our scholars!

Last week, Collegiate juniors and seniors showcased the culmination of their Independent Study projects, a semester-long, self-directed learning assignment rooted in curiosity and discipline.

Created to help scholars prepare for the realities of college life, Independent Study is designed to strengthen their ability to prioritize time, manage tasks independently, and work with an advisor toward a long-term goal.

From exploring real-world issues to engaging with creative passions, each presentation reflected the thoughtfulness and effort of our scholars. We’re so proud of their work and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow as independent thinkers.

Last Friday Collegiate celebrated the senior class with Signing Night — an evening where the Class of 2026 announced their college plans for the fall. We are so proud of all of the hard work our seniors have put forth during their time at Collegiate. Thank you to everyone from the CSM community who helped make this event a success!
