Going through my accounting software and realizing I am finishing my 1,600th fret job, which just happens to be a Gibson Norlin era L6.
That's full fret jobs, fret levels and other fret work would easily be 3 times that amount.
God-I'm old!

You want me.....me, to "Heavy Relic" your perfectly good Eastman Les Paul "like" copy? A company that did not even start making guitars until 2008. You know we try to repair instruments, not f**k them up-right?
Yes, I know how to-I've documented more vintage instruments than anyone in this city, but I also won't wear an Army dress uniform...I didn't serve.
How long have you been playing? When was your last gig? Do you want to wear it or play it? Take your guitar down the street to another shop and pay them to f**k it up.
Now, if you want it to play and sound better than it ever has, please, let's discuss. I'm happy to help.

Yes-I am currently slammed with full-on rebuilds, but at least they are some phenomenal instruments. My insurance rider is definitely going to have to be raised. At least the humidifiers in the shop are still working.
Vintage Gibson's, Gretcsh's and D'Angelico's-oh my!

Actually looking forward to be back in the shop tomorrow after a 2-week absence.
Between a family emergency, my truck being down and being trapped on top of a hill of ice, I'm beat. I'll be happy to make sawdust again!

I've done well over 400 neck resets over the years. One would think it's old hat by now, but each slice of the chisel still sends shivers down my spine. One slip, one too deep of a cut, and the instrument is ruined. Fortunately, I have been lucky so far.

Listening to a customer who can't figure out why the intonation is way off on his 62' ES-175, after he super-glued the bridge to the top........in the wrong place.
