Day 2 of awesome education!
[07/22/17]
Registration is Aug 1, 8-3 pm
School supply lists will be available. (We're hosting a supply drive with our friend and tattoo artist Brandon Bishop Cavill who will be supplying tattoos for Supplies)
We will be asking all parents to sign the Fidget Spinner Policy as well... No Fidget Spinners of any kind are allowed on site! First of all they are a distraction, secondly, the metal that they are made of could hurt a child if the are "accidentally" hit with one.
We will also have our annual text sign up for greater communication with parents. School starts on August 7! Looking forward to yet another great year! Stay tuned for further updates!

This year our Parent Organization will be renamed to reflect the high level of empowerment that we are expecting from our entire school community. Our school community includes students, parents, teachers , community partners, neighbors, or anyone else who has a genuine interest in ensuring that our students are provided opportunities of emmpowerment and exposure.
This year, we are asking all stakeholders to join our team.. I need assistance in setting up all social media.
So, please join Sharpe's Student Empowerment Team. There are volunteer opportunities available for everyone! I will be sending out a parent survey the first week of school to ask parents which types of workshops would be benefecial to them. (Literacy, and student data are 2 of the workshops that I willl be conducting)
Additionally, this year, we are starting our first strings program. This program is for incoming 4th and 5th graders. They will learn to play the violin. This in itself is absolutely amazing ! Im ready to have a dynamic school year!
To join electronically, text @a6de77 to 81010.
Thank you for partnering on behalf of the students of Sharpe Elementary!
