It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of our friend and colleague, Mr. Christion Riddle, a teacher assistant and behavioral specialist at PCA Elementary – Hickory Hill.

Mr. Riddle was a deeply loved and valued member of our Village. Through his work at PCA Elementary – Hickory Hill and his involvement with our middle school basketball team, he was a mentor, role model and steady source of encouragement for so many of our scholars.

In the days ahead, we encourage everyone to give themselves and one another the time and space needed to grieve. Grief counselors will be available to support our scholars, families and staff. We will lean on one another and continue to care for our Village in the way Mr. Riddle cared for so many within it.

🚨Power outage update and school closures🚨

Due to ongoing power outages from Saturday's storm, all Power Center Academy schools and the Gestalt main office are CLOSED tomorrow (Monday, Aug. 24). All classes and programs are canceled. We are awaiting an update from MLGW and will share additional information as soon as we receive it.

A full circle moment! ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome back one of our own! Alumni and Class of 2015 graduate, JauQuan Wells, has returned to campus - this time as a seventh grade science teacher! 🧪🔬

This week, Mr. Wells delivered an excellent lesson on protons and neutrons, inspiring the next generation of learners just as his teachers once inspired him. We know his former middle school science teachers – McGuirk, Park and Johnson – would be so proud to see how far he's come. ❤️
