Gestalt Community Schools

Fall break is almost here, and at Gestalt, it starts a little early. 💚

Our team will be released early this Wednesday before break, giving staff extra time to rest, recharge or simply spend the afternoon however they choose. It’s one of the ways we give back to the people who show up for our scholars every day.

The people who make our schools sparkle deserve their moment to shine, too! ✨

In honor of National Custodian Day on Oct. 2, we celebrated the incredible custodial teams who work behind the scenes to keep our PCA schools clean, safe, welcoming and ready for our scholars and staff each day.

Your hard work, dedication and commitment do not go unnoticed!

Gestalt is proud to be part of the Tennessee Pathways Incubator through SCORE's Future Forward Innovation Grant! Our Village was awarded $75,000 to help develop a new healthcare pathway for high school scholars.

Led by Ms. Jay Randolph, Director of School to Work Programming & Tennessee Pathways Incubator Fellow, the initiative will introduce CNA certification training in Spring 2027, followed by a Practical Nursing pathway in Fall 2027 for scholars interested in nursing and healthcare careers.

Healthcare will become our seventh CTE-focused pathway, joining:
📝 Business & Entrepreneurship
✏️ Teaching as a Profession
🔧 Mechatronics
🖥️ Coding
🚗 Auto Repair
🔨 Residential & Commercial Construction

We’re grateful for our healthcare pathway partners, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, TCAT Memphis and the Memphis Medical District Collaborative, for helping us build new opportunities for our scholars!

This HR Professionals Day, we celebrate the incredible Gestalt People team and the care, dedication and purpose they bring to our Village each day.

Their commitment to being people first helps cultivate a culture where our Village feels known, valued and empowered to do their best work. When our people thrive, they are better equipped to serve our scholars and families.

We are grateful for the many ways our HR professionals champion our people and strengthen our Gestalt community. Today, we celebrate you! 💚

🔟 years later! Once a PCA scholar, always a PCA scholar 🎓

PCA High School welcomed the Class of 2016 back home for their 10-year reunion. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces and hear how our alumni are continuing to ⚡power up ⚡ their families, careers and communities. The Class of 2016 took a special moment to honor our CEO, Ms. Lewis, and the founding PCA staff who helped pave the way for our scholars.

A huge thank you to Kenyona Chaney Thomas, Jasmon Cooley and the entire Class of 2016 planning committee for putting together an unforgettable alumni weekend!
