🦁 Coach Ford represents the best of us! He loves Jesus, students, and athletics, in that order.
This is a beautiful tribute to a quiet, amazing leader. He’s an incredible servant, so, of course, he’s already told us that he still wants to help work track meets next year!
Calkins: You know what's right with the world? People like Joe Ford. At the age of 60, Joe Ford started pole vaulting. And started passing his wisdom along. He’s now retiring as a volunteer coach at the age of 75. But you can bet he’ll still be around.

Our students in grades 3–5 performed their spring program “Celebrate America!” in honor of the 250th birthday of the country. All students wore red, white, and blue, and some even decked themselves out with hats, beads, and glitter. It was wonderful having our parents on campus for this special program in honor of America’s Semiquincentennial.

We had the best time hosting our Super Friends from Riverdale last week! Our upper school students played soccer, shot hoops, ran track, and more with these superstars. Everyone especially enjoyed the tug-of-war and the giant group race at the end of the day. Thank you for spending such a fun afternoon with us, Riverdale!

📚 Learning lessons about alliteration in literature is lovely! Our Honors American Literature class taught our third grade students about alliteration using Dr. Seuss's book Hooper Humperdink? Not Him! After learning and practicing examples of alliteration, they played a fun game with buzzers that our third graders loved. We are so grateful for these times when our lower schooler students get to learn from our upper school students. Thank you, tenth graders, for sharing your time and knowledge!
