I am so proud of the teachers at ABHES! They were prepared and excited about the 1st day of school!!! Although they all experienced some hiccups along the way, they stayed positive and focused on their students! I love our ABHES family!!!

AB Hill Parents - We are so excited to celebrate those students that come to school everyday. Starting tomorrow, students that attend school for 30 days (without missing) will receive a Poppin’ Treat during lunch. Poppin’ Treats include POPcorn, blow POP, POPsicles and so much more. At the end of the quarter, those students will be invited to a Poppin’ Attendance Party. I know you’re wondering - “How can I help?” I’m glad you asked!!! Make sure your kiddos are at school everyday on time. If students are here, they are learning. Let’s make sure to get them here! We appreciate all you do. 💙❤️

Now it’s time to recognize one of our outstanding teachers. Our Teacher of the Month for November is Mrs. Smith.

Mrs. Smith is 100% invested in ALL of her students. She builds amazing relationships with each one of them. She sees the good in all of her students and is committed to pulling out the best in them. She is a team player and is willing to jump in and help whenever she is needed. According to Principal Smith, she is truly an asset to the school. There isn’t anything you give her that she doesn’t excel in. She takes on the difficult task with a very positive attitude. Ms. Steele is a true dragon. The passion she has for the students and the work shows in everything she does. She always has the best interest of the students and the school in mind. According to Ms. Holt, Ms. Steele is hands down the best. With little to no notice, she is willing to jump in and handle the business. She builds great relationships with the students and is always finding learning opportunities inside and outside the class. Let’s kick off November by recognizing our Students of the Month. This month we will recognize those 4th grade students who are rocking it out in and outside the classroom.

Our first student is Vanyette Williams. According to Ms. Stafford, Vanyette is smart and very respectful. She takes pride in her work and how she displays it. She shows growth in every aspect you would hope for in a student. She is the perfect example of what an AB Hill student should be. Congratulations Vanyette foe being chosen as the 4th Grade Student of the Month. 💙❤️

Our second student is Antjuan Doyle. According to Ms. Hines, Antjuan is a hard worker. He takes pride in his work. He is always on task and does extremely well in Math, Science and Social Studies. He shows respect to all adults. He uplifts his classmates and is a true leader. He makes the classroom environment better. Congratulations Antjuan for being chosen as the 4th Grade Student of the Month. ❤️💙

Today was simply AWESOME!!!!! Our staff and students showed up and showed out today in their costumes!!! The Halloween parade was a huge success! From our amazing drum line, to the costumes worn by students and staff and the music by DJ Coach Munson. It was a GREAT day!!!! 💙❤️ I want to send a HUGE shout out to our AB Hill Parents that donated candy bags. You all are the real MVPs!!!! We appreciate you! Check out pictures from the parade today.
