Candice Golden is a proud graduate of Trezevant High School’s Class of 2006, where she distinguished herself as the school’s Valedictorian. Her commitment to academic excellence continued throughout her educational journey. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis and a Master of Science in Special Education from Arkansas State University. She is currently pursuing an Administration Certification at Clark Atlanta University, further preparing herself for leadership in education.

With 15 years of experience in education, Candice has dedicated her career to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Her passion for teaching was inspired by the exceptional educators who influenced her during her own time at Trezevant High School.

Her dedication and excellence in the classroom were recognized when she was named Teacher of the Year at Jackson Elementary School for the 2024–2025 school year. Candice continues to be passionate about empowering and inspiring young people, helping them build the knowledge, confidence, skills, and character necessary to succeed and make a positive impact on the world.
