This past weekend the Douglass High School-Red Devils Class of 1956 did a thing! In celebration of their 65th Class Reunion, they presented the school with busts of Ida B. Wells-Barnett and Frederick Douglass. They even streamed the event LIVE! to France for a beloved classmate. This event garnered wonderful memories, including the presentation of a proclamation, and attendance by SCS District leadership and even the new Director of the National Civil Rights Museum. We are pleased to share these moments of pride captured by SCS Multi-media Specialist, Angel Ortez.
