merly Val JaVaughn Finishing and Modeling School was established March 8, 1988 in Memphis, Tennessee, under the direction of Valeria Jenkins, professional model, motivational speaker, make up artist, and wardrobe stylist. Jenkins saw a need in the community and wanted to establish a school that would work on the student's inner beauty first and foremost. She wanted them to exude poise, charm, confidence in any given situation. She knew that with proper training in social graces, her students would become model people. Since opening her school over twenty-two years ago, she has been an inspirational teacher and role model for a multitude of young men and women, who are now entrusting their children to her charge.
