Yesterday was Spelman’s birthday, and what’s a birthday without gifts?! Our chapter shared the joy of reading on Founders Day by gifting 31 copies of “Stacey’s Extraordinary Words” by Stacey Abrams ‘95 to second graders at Memphis Delta Prep. They absolutely LOVED the tongue-twisting big words that Little Stacey shared with them. Here’s to your selfless giving that’s inspiring the next generation of readers and leaders in Memphis!

On February 1st, the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) relaunched the sale of limited edition prints by the internationally acclaimed artist, Larry Francis Lebby. Originally commissioned in 1992, the print celebrates a significant piece of our beloved Spelman’s history, featuring the iconic Sisters Chapel.

This is a unique chance to own a piece of Spelman history! Sized at 21.25” x 29”, each print is numbered and signed by the artist. Orders are expected to ship by May 2024. Visit naasc.org/lebbyprint to get yours today!
