UTHSC Medical Laboratory Science

The Medical Laboratory Science Program is saddened to report the passing of Dr. Brenta Davis. Brenta was a role model and mentor to many of us and will be remembered as a leader in the profession of Medical Laboratory Science. Dr. Davis was an alumna of of the UTHSC MT program, a long time faculty member and served as dean at UTHSC. Dr. Davis continued to support the MLS program after her retirement and in lieu of flowers, Brenta's family requests donations to the Medical Laboratory Science support fund. The program keeps Brenta's legacy alive with the Brenta G. Davis award which is presented to an outstanding graduate student.
