✨ We are looking back at our Coppell,TX program this Thursday morning with a #throwback.✨

• The Coppell Cotillion has been around for 24 years. We are lucky enough to have two incredibly smart women at the helm, Denise & Cherie! These photos featuring Denise, Cherie, & Jon Williams are our favorites.❤️ •

•” At the end of each Cotillion season in Coppell, we take a “kick off your heels” picture with Jon. He’s always been a great sport taking the picture with us, and now he knows to really pay attention to the socks he’s wearing on the final night.”•

✨ 'Tis the season for giving! ✨

• Our first #HolidayHighlight on Instagram is on The McAllen Rainbow Room/Rainbow RGV Community Partners. The Rainbow Room is a part of Child Protective Services. They are a safe house for children who cannot be with their parents due to negligence, drugs, arrest, unsafe environments, etc. They provide a loving safe place for these kids until they can figure out where they will go. •

• We have been working with The McAllen Rainbow Room and the wonderful Emma Menchaca (Director of McAllen Rainbow Room) since 2016 donating diapers, baby essentials, books, backpacks, shoes, socks, toiletries, blankets, and toys. They are currently accepting donations for the Holidays until December 17th. Visit their page to see how you can continue to help. •

What an unusual year 2020 has turned out to be!

Take a look at how JDWC has adapted our programs for the safety and benefit of our students and their families. As we begin our fall season, we are safely back in classes.

Social distancing may dictate the size of our classes, but, it does not affect the quality of our instruction.

Our Story

In a world where kindness, courtesy and respect are often overlooked, JDW Cotillions is recognized nationally as an authority in educating young people in the art of social skills through dance.

Social dance is incorporated into our programs to break down inhibitions, teach physical respect, develop confidence, establish teamwork and cooperation, reinforce non-verbal and verbal communication, and to teach students how to appropriately interact with the opposite gender in a structured and healthy environment.

In today’s competitive society, those with well-developed social skills have a tangible advantage in virtually every aspect of their lives. These skills empower individuals to feel comfortable with themselves and others and to communicate more effectively, promoting personal growth, confidence, leadership and character.
