We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our students in the Behavioral Sciences program at Christian Brothers University!

On March 28, psychology students Angeliki Zannettou and Nima Hasan presented their research at the Southeastern Psychological Association Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

SEPA is one of the largest psychological organizations in the United States, bringing together students and professionals to share research and advance the field of psychology.

Angeliki and Nima were mentored by Dr. Rod Vogl and Dr. Colby Taylor throughout their work.

Please join us in congratulating them on this outstanding achievement!

Family turns to true crime writing class for help to solve 2 cold case murders 02/26/2026

Students at Christian Brothers University are putting their research and writing skills to work in an extraordinary way.

In English 402: Creative Nonfiction True Crime Writing, led by Dr. Karen Golightly, students are studying the unsolved deaths of Memphis brothers Beau and Shea Grauer, killed less than seven months apart.

The Grauer family hopes that a fresh set of eyes may uncover new connections or leads. Students are conducting online research, interviews, and community outreach as part of the project.

This course highlights how the study of literature and writing can extend beyond the classroom—serving families, honoring victims, and engaging the broader Memphis community.

If you have information related to these cases, you are encouraged to contact Dr. Golightly at [email protected]

Please continue to keep the Grauer family in your thoughts.
