We had such fun handing out Valentine’s Day cards to the seniors at St. Peter’s Villa! Thank you to everyone who helped make these adorable cards; the patients loved them! ❤️

"Because children need more than medicine to heal."

The UTHSC Student Nurses Association is hosting a toy drive for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Toys will be accepted through 9/30 and the SNA officers will deliver the toys on October 4. Boxes will be set up near the nursing floor in the 920 Madison Ave building, the lobby of the GEB, and the CHIPS Simulation center.

Any and all donations are welcome. Le Bonheur is asking for items for school-aged children and teenagers, as they typically receive more items for babies. Some of these requested items include:

-Play Doh and tool sets
-Leggo sets
-Barbie dolls
-Action figures
-Comic books
-Activity books such as word searches and coloring books
-Books
-Appropriate adult coloring books for teenagers (no profanity)
-Colored pencils and crayons
-Games
-Stuffed animals

Please spread the word around campus! Thank you in advance for your contributions to the kids!

First SNA Meeting of the semester is today!! Meet in the SAC Dining Hall at 4:45 PM to hear what we have planned for the semester, enjoy some pizza, and become a member if you haven’t already. Membership dues are $10. We will also be selling Skills Lab jackets for $40 if you’re interested in one of those. See you there!!!!
