We loved hosting the MSCS Leadership Institute! It was a wonderful event for our district and school leaders. We received countless compliments about how warm, welcoming, and inviting our staff was throughout the event. Principal Bush even told Ms. Addison and Dr. Jack to “run it back” in 2027! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success.

It’s that time!

Yesterday, Southwind High School graduated a record 505 students from the Class of 2026!

This historic class included:🎓 Our school’s first Gates Scholarship winner📚 A student who earned an incredible 35 on the ACT🎓 49 graduating juniors🏆 And the most decorated athlete in school history

Please do not allow the accomplishments of these extraordinary young men and women to be overshadowed by the decisions of a few adults.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! You have truly left your mark on Southwind High School, and your legacy will be remembered for years to come.

Southwind High School Graduation Reminder:

If you are attending tomorrow’s graduation, we strongly encourage you to arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking and entry. There will be another graduation taking place at the same time in a different area of the venue, as well as a dance competition happening onsite. Doors will open at 8:00 am.

Please plan accordingly to avoid delays and ensure you are seated on time to celebrate our graduates. Principal Bush will start at 9:00 am!

Southwind High School Senior and Graduating Junior Parents—please review the attached CLEAR BAG POLICY carefully.

Please pay close attention to the approved bag size: 4.5” x 6.5”. Any bag larger than the approved size will not be permitted for entry.

Graduates cap and gown and graduation ticket pick-ups are scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13.

Pick-Up Times:

* Last Names A–N: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
* Last Names O–Z: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Pick-Up Locations:

* Cap & Gown: Home side concession area on the football field
* Graduation Tickets and Yearbooks: Visitor side concession area

Please remember: No graduate will be allowed inside the building without prior administrative approval.

Celebrating our teachers this week has truly been one of the highlights of the year. The dedication, passion, and love that our educators pour into our students each and every day do not go unnoticed.
