Highland St. at 5:30pm to enjoy a University District update on neighborhood news, and learn more about the role and importance ofurban design in communit revitalization efforts.

University District clean-up tomorrow! Join community leaders, residents, and business owners trim the crape myrtles along the railroad on Southern Ave., remove graffiti, and pick up trash! Beautify the Highland commercial district!

University Development Neighborhood Corporation :: Documenting '68: The Sanitation Workers' Strike : The University Libraries, the University of Memphis with the support of the Friends of Libraries invite you to a presentation of its collection of the strike that fatefully drew Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to Memphis and attracted international attention to civil and human rights.

The University of Memphis library is inviting the University District Community to an Open House TODAY from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, come in and enjoy the library's important areas and wrap up the morning with a visit to the Special Collections/Mississippi Valley Collection room.
