The Victus Study Skills System is based on the premise that effective study is best when it is a system of study and when it becomes a way of life. Just as the aim of a tree is to live and produce fruit, our aim at Victus Study Skills is to help students be productive and fruitful as they grow deep roots in a system of effective study skills.

Students with high self-directed learning abilities can manage their time and actively evaluate what they do and do not understand.

When individuals do not believe they can succeed on their own, their willingness to invest effort naturally declines.”

College students who rely on automated answers without critical reflection show a diminished ability to learn independently. A new survey suggests this habit lowers academic self-confidence and reduces the internal drive to succeed in school.
