Celebrating 35 years!!!!!!

This is an old flyer...Just sharing a memory!!!!!!!

In 2017, YAG founded the YAG Company dancers. They were trained in various genres of dance such as pointe, classical ballet, hip hop, African, modern, and contemporary.......

Over the past 35 years, YAG has trained over 40,000 youth in the arts giving them the tools to reach higher heights!!!!

Established in 2015, Young Actors Guild created a new program entitled " GIRLS ROCK'....A creative arts academy for little girls ages 3-7. This Academy is designed to help little girls hone their gifts in creative movement, ballet, balance, chararacter development, expression, and confidence. These skills throughout their years are designed to help prepare them for YAG next level in hopes they continue their journey in performing arts.....

Celebrating 35 years of impacting lives and HERstory speaks for itself! 🎉

In 2022, Young Actors Guild received an award for the "Best Small Renovation" in Memphis sponsored by the Memphis Business Journal.

Our founder, Ms. Chrysti Chandler and our executive director, Ms. Sabrina Norwood worked to transformed an old firehouse into a creative arts space.

The historic Orange Mound community was Ms. Chrysti's vision and it came to pass with the help of some amazing people.

Harriet Performing Arts Center is continuing to provide a SAFE space for creativity!

" Once a YAG Alumn.....always family"....Our staff had lunch with a few of our college students Tuesday before heading off to college!!!! They all are so special to YAG because of their dedication to the organization, leadership, and passion for the arts.... Please pray for all our college students as they embark on new chapters and continue their journey......We love you Dominick, Cydney, Morgan, and Trey......FAMILY!!!!
