Just in time for back to school—I have a small collection of Peabody spirit shirts and uniform tops and bottoms (mostly from Old Navy) in XS-M sizes. (LOTS of short sleeve and long sleeve polos!) It’s all or nothing—who wants em?
I went to school here from 1979-1985 and had my picture taken on those steps many a times. Today I got a picture of my youngest daughter, almost 17, on those steps. Such great memories that I am so grateful for💕
Anyone remember Alice Patterson went to Peabody 1958_1964
Was that you, Emily A. Holmes, I saw watering the Peabody garden on your birthday of all days? That is dedication. The school, students and parents are lucky to have you! Oh, and happy birthday. ❤️🎂😊
I went to Peabody for 1968-1970! While visiting Memphis today I stopped by to see my beautiful old school! Wow! It looks amazing and brought back so many memories. Love that there are volunteers keeping the grounds so nice. By the way, did you all know that the old Magnolia tree in the front East aide of the school was big and old when I was there over 50 years ago????? #timetravel Huge shout out to the best teacher ever: Judy Tate Pegg!!
Does anyone have the 5th grade science project rubric you can post?
Is Peabody doing the welcome squad on the first day of school again?
I also have fond memories of Peabody Elementary School! My 6th grade teacher was Ms. Easley. I still remember her to this day! Great teacher and great school! I attended in 1970/71.
Hi, this is Robert (was Bobby in grade school ) Huffines. Just wanted to write a few lines about Peabody Elementary . I was a student in the 60's . I love this school . There is a lot of great memories from there . Seen the picture of the stage . I remember being in a Christmas play on that stage . Still remember most of my teacher's names . They were all awesome . First grade was Miss. Frost, second grade was Miss New, Third grade was Miss. Williams, fourth grade was Miss. Owens and fiifth grade was Miss. Clarck. We moved from Memphis half way through the fifth grade . I will allways think that Peabody Elementary was the greatest school in the world .
First grade sang about forgiveness and being on time this morning!

I can't believe it's already time to start school again! This year, I thought I would try out flexible seating and music motivation in my classroom. So, I created an amazon list for anyone who would like to help me make this a reality this year! Any little bit helps!

Also, if anyone would be willing to help me create this stage please contact me!

Any updates on popcorn pick up? I have a few who would like to know before they purchase.
