Our students were so excited to be recognized during the student awards show for the month of January. We awarded all students who made the principals list, honor roll, & perfect attendance for the first semester. We also gave special awards for students who are producing high quality work, students showing the most growth, and students who exhibit our C.A.R.E. Values (Community, Academics, Respect, & Excellence). We are so proud of our students and can't wait to see who earns awards for the month of February!

Our new "Boys to men" mentoring program will be kicked off at the end of January. A part of that programming includes "Tie Tuesdays" Where all of our staff and students who identify as male will be encouraged to wear button down shirts and ties to school every Tuesday starting on January 25th.
On that Tuesday, we are inviting all available fathers, father figures, & positive male role models to join our greeting team at 7:45 am, for our special kick-off event.
*If you have a button down shirt or a tie that you'd like to donate to a student who may need one, please feel free to drop off those donations or send them to school with your student to be dropped off in the main office.

Exposing students to different career choices and having visitors from different professions speak to our students about their experiences is a huge step towards preparing students for success in College, Leadership, and Life!
That is why we are so excited to be kicking off our Career Cafe events! The first Career Cafe will take place on Thursday, January 27th at 11am in the gym. All students who are interested in becoming a lawyer or studying law, should check their email for information on how to sign up.
