🚨 Parents of young children please try your best to refrain from giving young children tablets. From what I see working in childcare, it hurts more than helps. Time with your children reading books will ALWAYS be one of the best things you can do. Tablets/phones changes the way they process information and the way they interact with the world. Infants and toddlers SHOULD NEVER have them! PLEASE!!!!!🙏🏽 I KNOW it gives you a break from watching them because they zone out and can watch for hours. Think about that though…a child who is normally active and full of energy has a gadget that can bring them to a standstill. When you take it away FULL MELTDOWN beyond control! That doesn’t happen with books. It doesn’t happen with paint and crayons. It’s addiction.

Please understand no child should be left unattended because you don’t have care for job interviews and work. Great Expectations will help you if you do not have anyone to watch your child for a job interview or a family emergency.
