Yesterday we celebrated all our students, faculty, staff, and supporters at our final awards ceremony of the year. Students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance for the 4th quarter, perfect attendance for the entire 2023-2024 academic year, Principal's List for the 4th quarter, Honor roll for the 4th quarter, Principal's List for the entire 2023-2024 academic year, and Honor Roll for the entire 2023-2024 academic year. Our specials teachers also recognized student excellence in each of their classes, Physical Education, Music, Art, Spanish, and Latin. Our teachers received student voted awards as well. We recognized our HSA leaders, and members of the staff.

It was an incredibly bittersweet celebration, we recognized all the wonderful achievements our school community has accomplished over the year, while also saying goodbye to our school year, and our school.

Today was a busy day at ICCS! This morning, 1st-8th graders participated in The Stations of the Cross, which follows Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection. This experience allows time for students to reflect on their lives and their lenten resolutions and goals.

In the afternoon, 5th-grade parent, Ms. Denise Vorhees, brought her farm animals including goats, fowl, llamas, alpacas, bunnies, and even a hedgehog for students to enjoy an urban farm experience.
