Graham is a student at Presbyterian Day School and wanted to start riding after watching his twin brother zipping around on his bike. At first, Graham wasn't "feeling it," but after these recent cold days forcing him to stay indoors, IT WAS TIME!! 🙋‍♂️

We just got in some of the new Scott kids bikes, and when Johnson saw the Scale 24" mountain bike.....BRUH!! IT WAS OVER!!! Lil' dude had to have it!!!! 🤣🤣🤘

With a new ride, and a fly lookin' Victory Hat, Johnson is going to raise the average upon 1st pedal stroke onto campus this week! Congrats dude!!!

Our SK Global Class had a fun time learning all about India yesterday! Today is Holi, the festival of colors, and boys learned about it and played with the colors. They sampled yummy food, played instruments and games, tried out some cricket gear, and more. It brought learning about the country to life for SK! JK’s February community project was asking the boys to complete helpful things at home to raise money to buy art supplies for Carpenter Art Garden. A representative came earlier this week to accept the items the boys brought and gifted our school a thank you sign children who are part of the program created. We are proud of all the hard work JK Boys did to contribute to our community!

One of the capstone field trips at PDS is the 6th Grade trip to the National Civil Rights Museum. This trip couples an intentional school-wide focus during Black History Month and the building blocks of our American history and culture 6th Graders have learned thus far at PDS. We hope that our boys develop an understanding of the past, so that they may become Servant Leaders who champion just acts for a better future.

PK Boys stole our hearts today! With the help of their teachers and Mrs. Pearson, they performed a wonderful Valentine’s Day Program! The boys have worked so hard to put on this performance, and they did an excellent job! Their 6th Grade buddies came to watch, and created a spirit tunnel to congratulate them for a job well done. We love seeing how our boys cheer on and love each other! ❤️

Congratulations to the PDS Robotics Team! This team competed against 25 other teams from the West Tennessee region this weekend, and our boys worked very hard and walked away with two awards! These awards are given based on a combination of core values, robot and innovation research design, and robot mission completion times.

Graham Ensor, Evan Rodrigues, and Patrick Tadlock had the 3rd highest robot run score of 200 points. They also won the Engineering Excellence Award, which celebrates a team with an efficiently designed robot, an innovative project solution that effectively addresses the season challenge, and great Core Values evident in all they do.

Mitchell Muller, Calix Rodrigues, Colton Schrank, and Sam Stenberg tied for the 5th highest robot run score. They won the Rising All-Star Award, which celebrates a team that the judges notice and expect great things from in the future.

We had the privilege to recognize our special relationship with Second Presbyterian Church yesterday on PDS Sunday! Several of our students and faculty members assisted with worship: John David Patterson, Wells Martin, Daniel Conley, and Tony Rudzena. We also enjoyed an offertory anthem by the 4th-6th Graders, directed by Dawn Southerland. Brad Sewell spoke to thank the church for the relationship we have shared for nearly 75 years!
