Our seniors attended the AIAA Conference in March and won 1st Place in the team category for their research and presentation, “Team Flying Tigers Design/Build/Fly Competition.” They are in Tucson now getting ready for their DBF Competition. Go, Flying Tigers, Go!!!

It was cold this morning, but that didn’t stop our amazing team from coming out to fly the plane one more time before heading off to the AIAA DBF Competition! They will be heading out this week to showcase their hard work. Go, Flying Tigers, Go!!!

Our very own AIAA Senior DBF member, Sophie Wood, presented her research at the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville. She was one of the six UofM Honors students selected for this prestigious event. Let's celebrate with Sophie on this amazing accomplishment!

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SUPER...DBF Team of UofM AIAA!!!
We were so excited to find out our proposal was selected to move on to the competition in Tucson, AZ! Our seniors have been working hard to prepare for this amazing event in April.
