Are you an experienced, OS Certified educator looking for ways to share your expertise and give back to the AOSA community? Consider signing up to be a Digital Mentor!

The Digital Mentor Program pairs experienced Orff Schulwerk teachers (mentors) with newly trained Orff Schulwerk teachers or teacher educators (mentees) to improve the practice of those seeking mentorship. In today’s digital age, mentors and mentees can communicate effectively through various online platforms—email, chat sessions, video conferencing, and digital video recordings.

2026 Summer Orff Levels will come to an end this Friday. Our course sharing is Friday, July 17, 2026 at 1:00pm-2:30pm central time at the University of Memphis Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center. This course includes over 100 kid-developed lessons to
actively engage children in singing, playing, moving, speaking, and creating.

You will have opportunities to explore your own creativity through the lens of children. Rejoice in early music experiences, explore the breadth and depth of the Schulwerk, and find time for questions that have arisen since you completed Level III!

This masterclass focuses on classroom applications
of the 3 levels of work you have completed.

April = Orff extravaganza month! 🎶
From the Memphis All-City Concert (bravo to the students, residents, teachers, and Bethany Mayahi!), to inspiring guest work with Doug Goodkin and Tiffany Barry at UofM, to TMEA in Nashville led by Elementary Chair (and future president!) Linzie Mullins—it’s been a joyful season of music and movement.
