When beloved musician and philanthropist Dolly Parton passed away this week, Miss Glosson shared with her middle school drama students why Dolly had always been her hero.

For Miss Glosson, Dolly represented so much of what she hopes her students will understand about living with purpose: dreaming big, loving generously, working hard, staying humble and being unapologetically feminine and strong. Most importantly, Dolly was UNASHAMED of her faith in Jesus, which is the school theme for the year.

As Miss Glosson shared her story, it was an opportunity to point students beyond a famous life and toward the qualities that make a life meaningful.

And sometimes, that means talking about Dolly Parton in drama class.

Because when our students encounter the people, ideas and moments shaping our culture, we want them to be equipped to engage those moments with wisdom, courage and a faith they are never ashamed to profess.

✨ Soar, explore and discover! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that the Soar and Explore Studio, our newest special-area offering for Early Childhood and Senior Kindergarten students, is officially up and running!

Each week, Mrs. Thomas creates hands-on lessons designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity and give our youngest learners the freedom to explore, wonder and discover something new. 🖍️🔍✨

Lessons are inspired by the 12 Round Square Heroes of Discovery, including Teamwork Tama, Problem-Solving Papri and Tenacious Tino, helping our students develop important skills and character traits as they learn through play and exploration.

We love watching our youngest Eagles soar, explore and grow! 🦅
