Join us as we give back to our community, clean up the park, and then enjoy a movie together! Bring the family and help us show our students that taking pride in our community is part of making a difference.

What a day! What a community! ❤️

When thinking about our Back-to-School Bash in 2026, we feel a great sense of thankfulness.

We'd like to thank each family that attended, each community partner who put up a table, each volunteer who spent their time, and each supporter who believes in the mission of Rich Off Education. It is thanks to you that families have been able to connect with useful community resources, students have received school supplies, and new relationships have been formed which will last well beyond a single day.

We have been reminded that the community is stronger when people come together.

It also provided us with some useful lessons which will assist us in making next year's event even larger and better. Since each event is a chance to learn, develop, and improve, we are already looking forward to what's coming.

We at Rich Off Education think that getting exposure makes all the difference, and this had been one action taken in order to create more opportunities for the children and families we serve.

Even if you did not register for a backpack, families are still encouraged to come and connect with the amazing community partners. They will share educational programs, health and wellness resources, youth opportunities, family support services, and giveaways throughout the event.

This event brought together educators, leaders, artists, and community members for an afternoon filled with powerful stories, meaningful ideas, and unforgettable performances. It was a wonderful reminder that one opportunity, one conversation, or one new perspective can change the course of someone’s life.

Thank you to every speaker, performer, volunteer, sponsor, partner, and guest who helped make this vision a reality. We are honored to support experiences that introduce our community to new possibilities and inspire people to take action.

Thank you to WREG News Channel 3 for highlighting our mission and for awarding Rich Off Education a $1,000 community grant. This support helps us continue creating life-changing educational experiences for Memphis youth. 💸🥰

This recognition isn’t just for us; it’s for every student, parent, volunteer, donor, board member, and community partner who believes in investing in the next generation.

On July 18, we’ll host TEDxNormalStation ED: Exposure Changes Everything. This event will bring together educators, leaders, and changemakers to inspire our community.

Next up is our Back-to-School Bash on August 1, where we’ll serve over 500 families and distribute 300 backpacks to registered students.
