I have been saved and striving for Kingdom since I was about 22. The journey has been full of ups and downs. I have been through many many cycles of deliverance and healing. As believers when God exposes us to us it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to deal with what we see! You may need a therapist, deliverance, medication for a season or any combination of these things; there is no harm in not being okay. The harm is trying to act okay and you are a functioning mess! It is our job to heal responsibly as we are to be salt and light to the earth!
One season in my life I a tounge talking believer felt like I needed a bottle of wine to soothe all of the emotional imbalances that I had going on. In that season God only allowed me to go so far and then I was left crying out to him for help. It was amazing there were so many around me and no one saw it, because we are good at hiding in plain sight! Thank God for those who can pick you up in the spirit.
Be honest with yourself and those around you in this season and in those to come! Do not be yoked or linked up with people you can not share these parts of yourself with. You need people who are assets to you, not just occupants! YOU ARE WORTH THIS!
