9.8 out of 10. Only one other shoe has ever scored that high on this channel. And this one glows in the dark. The Joker 2 GT "Lumos." 💡🔥

The Lumos is a 361° collab celebrating the 10th anniversary of Poizon — built around Jokić's "composed on court, pure at heart" identity. The Tranquil Turquoise colorway is inspired by natural turquoise, and the upper genuinely glows in the dark. Released May 2026. Another Joker 2 GT colorway that doesn't miss.

The performance is why it ties my highest score ever. The CQTEXTREM3 supercritical midsole with dual QU!KLIGHT units front and back is a 10/10 cushion — full stop. The One-Piece Fused Torsion Plate puts a carbon fiber QU!KBONE inside a surrounding TPU piece, and with the Dual-Frame TPU Heel Counter the support is a 10/10. Herringbone RPU outsole — perfect 10 traction, perfect 10 dust resistance. The DIAMOND SHELL woven upper with breathable mesh panels and KPU TPU overlays sits at a 9/10. Fit is a perfect 10 — TTS for a normal fit, half size down if you want it snug, wide-foot friendly either way. 371g.

$75. Nike's cheapest performance hoop shoe. And it covers everything that actually matters on court. The Precision 8 Low. 💙🔥

Let me be straight with you on the looks first — 5/10. The White and Light Photo Blue is clean enough, but nobody is stopping you at the gym to ask about these. That's the trade you make at this price, and I'd rather tell you that upfront.

Because where it matters, this shoe shows up. The herringbone outsole grips at a 9/10 — multidirectional coverage with grooves spaced wide enough that dust barely slows it down. 9/10 dust resistance, and the rubber is durable enough to take outdoors without burning through it. Fit is a 9/10 — standard, TTS for most. At 347g it's light on foot.

The honest trade-offs — the sculpted foam midsole is a 6/10. Soft and supportive enough for the price, but basic, not bouncy. Breathable mesh upper with no-sew overlays at 6/10 materials. Lace-up containment, padded collar and tongue, and a forefoot rubber sidewall wrap hold it down at a 7/10 support. Nothing fancy anywhere — just reliable.

God meets your needs — not always your wants. At $75 via the Nike link in my bio, the Precision 8 Low does exactly the same thing. Easy recommendation. 🙏

"Let me be Ja." He said it in a press conference back in 2023 — and Nike turned it into one of the best colorways in his entire signature line. Tour Yellow. Bruce Lee vibes. 🐉🔥

This started with the "Let Me Be Ja" Air Force 1 and a Ja 2 PE — now it lands on the Ja 3 for the first time. Released May 12, 2026 at $125. Tour Yellow upper with University Red branding and black hits on the midsole. If you grew up on Bruce Lee, Kill Bill, or Wu-Tang — you already know what this colorway is doing. One of my favorite colorways on the Ja 3, period. And with the Ja 4 coming later this year, this might be one of the last Ja 3 drops we get.

On court it's the same story as every Ja 3. Full-Length Hybrid ZoomX at 9/10 — bouncy and quick. JA traction pattern at a perfect 10. 9/10 dust resistance. Internal TPU Heel Counter and Midfoot TPU Shank Plate at 7/10 support. Rubber, Fuse and Textile upper at 8/10. Light on foot at 363g.

The fit hasn't changed and I'm not going to pretend it has — 4/10. Snug, banana shaped, long break-in. Wide footers beware. Best shoe quality in the line held back by the same problem every time.

DLO’s first signature shoe versus his second. The DLO 1 started something good. The DLO 2 made it better. 🦋🔥

The DLO 1 was a strong debut — full-length BOOM with Light Foam Ultra in the heel, top-tier traction indoors and outdoors, and a snug fit that ran narrow. Inspired by DLO’s “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee” playstyle. For $120 it punched above its weight.

The DLO 2 takes that foundation and makes the right upgrades. Better fit — wide-foot friendly now, where the DLO 1 ran narrow and needed wide footers to size up. Better materials. Better support. Cushion, bounce, traction, court feel, outdoor capability, and dust resistance are all ties — both shoes deliver at a high level there. The DLO 1 is lighter on foot and the price is essentially the same.

Two very similar performers. But the DLO 2 made the upgrades that matter most — and personal preference reflects that.

This colorway came from a kid’s drawing. DLO’s son made art. Way of Wade turned it into a shoe. The DLO 2 “Canvas” is one of the most personal releases in the entire lineup. 🎨🔥

The DLO 2 platform got a real upgrade since the Pisces. Full-Length BOOM midsole with LIGHT FOAM ULTRA structure — low to the ground, court feel forward, 7/10 cushion. PROBAR LOC stabilizer with three butterfly-shaped TPU pieces locks in lateral support at a 9/10. TUFF OS multidirectional outsole grips at a 9/10 with 9/10 dust resistance. Textile, TPU, and synthetic upper at 8/10 — average materials but the upgraded lockdown upper is a noticeable step up.

Fit is where this one really stands out — a perfect 10. TTS for most and wide-foot friendly, which is an upgrade from where the DLO 2 started. At 352g it’s light on foot. Released April 2026 at $119 via the Way of Wade link in my bio.

The “Canvas” colorway is ivory and white with hand-drawn graffiti brushstrokes — co-designed with DLO’s own son. Where lifestyle meets hoop culture. This is a family shoe in every sense.

The Nike GT Cut “Unseen Hours Virginia” — cherry blossom pink with the 703 area code on the tongue, Watts Towers details, chrome Ferrari insignia on the collar. A shoe with a story in every stitch. $200.

The SPO Player1.5 “Budapest” — soft, structured, and clean. No loud details, no color blocking trying to do too much. Just a premium-feeling pink shoe that looks good every time you pull it out. $190.

The Volanti 911 Rocket Air “Pink” — brand new to basketball and already looking like it belongs. Clean pink with a running shoe silhouette that stands out from everything else in the lineup. $159.

The Nike LeBron 23 Elite “Good Intentions” — the most premium looking of the four. Full Flyknit cuff, The Decision colorway, split-in-half crown details, gold accents throughout. This one demands attention. $235.

Four shades of pink. Four completely different vibes. God gives strength — and apparently inspiration for some incredible colorways. 🙏

One shoe yellow. One shoe pink. Kool-Aid Man on the tongue. “Ohhh Yeahhh!!” on the insole. The Ja 3 Kool-Aid is the most fun basketball shoe I’ve reviewed all year. 🥤🔥

Kool-Aid and Ja have done this twice before on the Ja 2 — Mixed Berry and Tropical Punch. Now they’ve brought it to the Ja 3 for the first time and went even harder. Released May 20, 2026 at $135. The left shoe comes in Pink Beam for the pink in lemonade. The right shoe comes in Lemon Venom for the yellow. Both tied together with Deep Royal Blue and Light Photo Blue across the lining, laces, and icy translucent outsole. Condensation droplet texture on both tongues. The Kool-Aid Man holding the left shoe’s tongue, Ja’s signature on the right. “Ohhh Yeahhh!!” stamped across both insoles. This colorway is intentional, specific, and executed perfectly from top to bottom. Ja 3 colorways genuinely don’t miss.
