Meet University of Tennessee Health Science Center graduate Dr. Jasmine T. Agnew. As a published author, community activist, ecumenical scholar, and educator Dr. Agnew is a busy professional! Her research focuses on advancing healthcare and academic equity as well as stakeholder involvement in the development of relevant curriculum.

Congrats to faculty members on being awarded a 5-year, $1.2M grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for their “From High School to Health Care: Lab and Data Science Pathways for Success" program. This project will educate rural Tennessee high school students about careers in clinical laboratory science and public health information technology. This project is funded by a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Institutes of General Medical Sciences at the NIH.
