A compromise is not always abandoning your values outright—it can look like repeatedly ignoring what you know is right because it’s easier, more comfortable, or less costly in the moment.

One of the clearest biblical examples is Samson. His downfall didn’t happen in a single day. It was a series of small concessions. He kept getting closer and closer to what he should have stayed away from until eventually the strength he relied upon was gone.

A question to consider today:

Where am I tolerating something that I once would have challenged?

“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards…”Song of Solomon 2:15

The “little foxes” were not the vineyard, but they had the power to ruin the fruit.

Often sounds like:
“It’s not that serious”
“Everybody does it”
“You have to be realistic”
“I’m imperfect”

Let’s go🔥🔥🔥

There is never a dull moment with Him. There have been times when He’s taken me down paths with only the assurance, “I will be with you.” Yet the peace I feel reminds me that “He is here.”

When I step back and look at every time I’ve wavered, questioned, or even doubted, it was never about whether God would do what He said He would. It usually came down to my ability to trust the One who cannot lie, the One who is undefeated, the One whose unwavering love empowers me to simply be who He created me to be.

A prerequisite is something that must be established before the next level can be accessed. Wisdom understands that many people pray for elevation while resisting the preparation required to sustain it. Character is often the prerequisite for influence, stewardship is the prerequisite for increase, and obedience is the prerequisite for trust. God will rarely release the weight of a new season into hands that have not first learned consistency in the current one. Don’t despise the process that feels hidden — many times, the prerequisite season is when strength, discernment, and endurance are quietly being built. Keep going….Philippians 1:6

One of the toughest battles we face in life is becoming too comfortable. How do we start out hungry for something? Then we obtain it. And then we settle into this pattern. And slowly, our drive, motivation, and passion dull. After a while, we’re just going through the motions day by day. And it’s not enough.

Could it be that you haven’t quite tapped into what God has placed in you yet? Have you settled for simply what a degree or status can bring? There’s nothing wrong with either. But nothing will ever be enough unless it’s combined with His purpose for your life.

If you’ve gotten comfortable and aren’t quite sure HOW to break out, begin praying Ephesians 5:14. God has placed His desires and His fire in each of us. And it is an UNQUENCHABLE fire. It aligns with who you truly are and WHY we’re here on this earth. It’s there. We have to be awakened to it and recognize His voice and direction above our own. Are you comfortable?

Preparation is EVERYTHING. Not just for a position or something we want, but for life. An athlete can prepare in a gym or weight room to strengthen his body, only to lose all his wealth due to a bad attitude or weak morals. A CEO can have the best education and network but lose the entire company due to poor leadership skills and pride. Daily, we have opportunities to be strengthened, corrected, pushed, or remain stagnant. It may not “feel good” today, but keep going anyway. Leaders aren’t built on what “feels good”. We are built on what challenges us, pushes us, and grows us up. Remember, you’re not prepping for things to go right. You’re prepping for how to deal with adversity and the temptations that life will bring your way. The higher your level of influence, the stronger your character needs to be. God wants us to be sustainable where He places us. You may have an “idea” of where your next position will be. God knows ALL the pieces, including what may be a stumbling block, down the line. Allow Him to work on your character, integrity, and heart. People celebrate making it to the next level. We need to focus more on being sustainable on the next level. Keep going. One day, it will all make sense.

If you need clarity this week, take a look at John 16:13. And stand on that promise. We don’t have to keep walking through the fog. Good Morning!
