All University Schools will remain closed Thursday, February 20th due to inclement weather.
While there was significant melting on the roadways throughout the day today, many roads have the potential to refreeze overnight. Those refreezing conditions present potential travel risks for tomorrow morning during the hours that individuals would be making their way to campus. As our students and staff travel to our schools from every corner of the county, we have made the determination to remain closed tomorrow out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our school community.
Please be safe and we look forward to seeing you all once school reopens!
Due to forecasted winter weather conditions, which can pose a danger to our students, families, faculty, and staff, all University Schools will be CLOSED on February 19, 2025.
Please note: this announcement pertains only to University Schools and does not indicate a university-wide closure.

Promoting a Growth Mindset for Your Teens: The Importance of the Parent Message!
Students who have a growth mindset (defined as a belief in personal change through effort) have been shown to feel better about themselves, have more positive relationships with parents and friends, and do better in school in the long-run. Unfortunately, many teens struggle with developing these beliefs. The good news is that parents matter, and they matter a lot! Come to this session and learn more about what growth mindset is, why it matters for students and their personal well-being and achievement in school, and most important, how parents can help their teens develop these important beliefs.
