No matter what is happening in our lives, we can always find something to be thankful for in our lives. Sometimes, it takes a little more effort to focus on the good things in our lives. However, it is to our advantage to put forth the effort to focus on what God is doing in our lives. Even when we are in the midst of a battle, God is active and providing us with hope.

My prayer tonight is that we never lose sight of all the things Jesus has done for us. No matter what is happening in our lives, it is but a blink of an eye and it will all be over and we will be in Jesus’ presence. We should never forget that Jesus died for each of us so we can live with Him forever in paradise. Every day God gives us a sign He is still active in our lives. All one has to do is look at a beautiful sunrise or watch the sunset. A walk in the mountains helps us see the awe of God.

Tonight, take some time to give thanks for what God is doing in your life. Even if you are struggling, put forth the effort to praise the Lord. Jesus can bring peace and joy amidst the battles. Fall asleep appreciating all the good that is in your life.
