First up, we have Amber Hayes - CEO and CoFounder of SecondKeys. SecondKeys is part of the incubator housed in the Center for Entrepreneurship at CBU!
What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?
“Being an entrepreneur means wanting to make a difference by leading the way.”
What inspires you to keep going on your entrepreneurial journey?
“My inspiration comes from knowing even our smallest impact is saving money and making units better in the future for tenants and landlords. If all goes well we can be the standard of living conditions in homes.”
If you had one piece of advice to give to other entrepreneurs, what would it be?
“It's okay to not know everything. That is why there is a community of entrepreneurs. Make friends, make mistakes and keep moving forward. Pride will get you nowhere in this industry.”
