ENTR is on the catalog for the Spring semester! Add it to your schedule today and let us know if you have any questions about course content!

We want to know what you want to see from us! Email us, DM us, or comment below ⬇️.

Do you need mentorship for an idea? Would an intro to entrepreneurship session be helpful? Is there a topic you want us to cover or a speaker you’d want to hear? We welcome your suggestions!

It’s time for us to highlight another entrepreneur for !

Jessica Moore is a junior at CBU studying Business Administration. She is the CoFounder and Product Development lead at Ambiply - a startup aiming to make the world of school/office supplies more equitable for left-handed people.

What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?
“Being an entrepreneur is creating solutions to problems in hopes of creating a brighter future.”

What inspires you to keep going on your entrepreneurial journey?
“I’m inspired by constantly seeing the changes other entrepreneurs are making around me. When I see that they can do it, I know I can do it, too.”

If you had one piece of advice to give to other entrepreneurs, what would it be?
“Don’t let others stomp all over your ideas. Take their comments into consideration, but If you believe in it, that’s enough to go for it.”

It’s officially Women Entrepreneurship Week! In addition to the events we have this week, we will also be highlighting some incredible entrepreneurs.

First up, we have Amber Hayes - CEO and CoFounder of SecondKeys. SecondKeys is part of the incubator housed in the Center for Entrepreneurship at CBU!

What does it mean to be an entrepreneur?
“Being an entrepreneur means wanting to make a difference by leading the way.”

What inspires you to keep going on your entrepreneurial journey?
“My inspiration comes from knowing even our smallest impact is saving money and making units better in the future for tenants and landlords. If all goes well we can be the standard of living conditions in homes.”

If you had one piece of advice to give to other entrepreneurs, what would it be?
“It's okay to not know everything. That is why there is a community of entrepreneurs. Make friends, make mistakes and keep moving forward. Pride will get you nowhere in this industry.”
