UPDATE:

Good morning friends!! We wanted to update you on some things pertaining to our homeschool program for this year. As excited as we have been in planning and getting everything ready, we are having to step back and wait (possibly for next year) as we try to deal with several things that have come across our family in the last 2 months, we feel it’s best to wait another year and seek God’s guidance in all of this. As much as it HURTS OUR HEARTS to postpone this homeschool program, we want to make sure that when we open it to be available, we are 100% focused and involved in it! We would feel terrible to let our personal family journey interfere with your child’s education.

Stay with us and keep an eye out for anything that might change this next year! We love having you in our corner and we want to walk alongside each of you! ❤️

WE HAVE BIG NEWS!

As many of you know, we opened up summer camp options for your kids this summer. Well... that was only the beginning...

We are so excited to announce that this year we are opening up a homeschool program for a handful of kids! It has been on my (Danielle) heart for so long to really give kids a space to learn and grow without the agenda our school systems seem to be continuously putting on our children. I want to give kids a place to learn with biblical principals and understanding. I want them to have a place they are excited to come to each day that is filled with wonder, joy and acceptance of their personal learning pace.

As this is the beginning year, it will be hosted at my personal home in East Memphis so space for students is limited.

There are options for Monday-Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday and even Tuesday/Thursday.

Take a deeper dive into some of the activities we will do each week with camp!

*Space week: Constellation replicas with marshmallows, solar oven experiments, and a soda bottle rocket experiment.

*STEM week: Marble racetrack building, ice cream in a bag, and making their own paper.

*Nature Week: Bird feeder, spray bottle nature art, and a mini greenhouse.

*Art week: Making art by using different things such as bubble, spray bottle, coffee filters and tissue paper.

*All Around the World Week: Traveling to different countries to learn about their cultures, traditions, foods, music and more. We will even be tasting foods/sweets from each country we learn about!

*Ocean Week: They will make things like rain sticks and shell/sand art.

These are just a few of the things your kids will get to do during each week of camp!!! We look forward to them joining us!

Why is summer camp so important for kids to be a part of?

Camps are such a great way to help kids transition to independence as they explore the world in a new and exciting way! It allows kids to practice skills such as leadership and followership, compromise and problem-solving. Our summer camp is aiming to provide your kids with a community of caring adults and teens who want to nurture experiential learning/doing that results in self-respect and the an appreciation for human value.

After tons of people saying they wish we were having a full day camp for each week, we have decided to do just that!!

Camps are now Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (drop off as early as 7:30am & pick up as late as 5:30pm)
