It’s Wednesday! You know what that means!! Free summer meal distribution at Mt Pleasant High School from 10:30am-1pm! This is our last week doing this program so stop out and pick up some delicious food for any children 18 years old and under.

Food allergies are a part of life for a lot of our students. We make substitutions and edit menus to ensure we provide meals in line with specific allergy information. In order to do that though, we have to have documentation from a physician that outlines the allergies and what could be substituted instead.

If you have a student with a food allergy, please have your physician fill out and sign the attached Special Dietary Form. Those completed forms can be handed in to foodservice staff at upcoming open houses, office secretaries, or teachers. Thank you!

With 17 days until Mt Pleasant Public Schools are back in session, it is time to talk about important documentation needed by your foodservice team. Thank you for completing in advance!

Education Benefits Form -

1. Determines student eligibility for school meals and related economic supports. Connects households to benefits like summer EBT (SUN Bucks) and fee waivers.

2. Helps school districts maximize federal and state funding.

How to Complete and Submit: Household information. Fill out only one application per household, listing all children, household size, and total gross income ranges. Submission window: Applications are collected annually starting July 1 for the upcoming school year.

Where to return: Turn the completed paper form directly into your specific school district's main office or submit it via your district's final forms.

Meal distribution at Mount Pleasant High School is today from 10:30am-1pm. We will be here for the next two weeks with the last distribution being on August 12th. All children 18 years and under are eligible for these free meals! Come see us today!

We have great news!! We have been awarded a grant from the United Dairy Industry of Michigan! This grant will assist us with providing more meals to Mount Pleasant High School students when school starts back up in a few short weeks! Thank you United Dairy Industry of Michigan!
