Just like talking isn't teaching, clarity isn’t just what you say. It’s what your systems reinforce.

The end of the school year shows what your leadership systems have actually been reinforcing all along.

It's testing season in the North. Summer break is in view in the South. And this is the season when patterns become more visible:

🧐 inconsistent expectations
🧐 communication breakdowns
🧐 staff frustration
🧐 decision fatigue
🧐 dependence on personalities instead of systems

Most leaders rush straight into planning for next year.
(At least that's what I used to do when I was a principal.)

I've grown to understand the power of pausing long enough to reflect first. I've seen firsthand what happens when we simply build another plan without addressing what this year exposed.

Because clarity isn’t just about what we put on paper. It's about understanding what people have consistently experienced.

Don't build one more summer planning document or inservice powerpoint.

This is the time for clarity.

Not July. Now.

Ready to get clear? DM me to schedule some time.

Allow me to reintroduce myself.

For years, people have known me as a leadership coach.
And while coaching is a component of my work, that’s no longer where the work stops.

Others have known me as a facilitator, but that title doesn’t fully capture the work either.

Since 2017, I’ve been building Silent Rock Educational Services, LLC, and over time, that work has evolved into something more…

I’ve grown into the trusted partner organizations call when their leadership and culture aren’t living up to the promise they’ve made to the people they serve. This work begins with a focus on the self-awareness of the leadership team.

In other cases…I’m brought in at the beginning to help new leaders build the infrastructure that will shape the culture from the start.

I help leaders answer one question:

What is the C.O.S.T. of your leadership?

Because every organization is paying for something…

🧩 lack of clarity
🧩 misaligned ownership
🧩 broken systems
🧩 eroded trust

The question is whether you’re paying for alignment… or dysfunction.

I don’t do surface-level leadership development. If it only looks good in the room but doesn’t show up in the work…I call that “just pretty.”

Most leaders don’t realize the cost until it shows up in their people. I build the culture your mission requires.

I'm Dr. Precious.

Silent Rock Educational Services is opening partnerships for organizations ready to end the school year well and plan for the next with clarity, ownership, systems, and trust at the center.

Comment COST if you’re ready to see what your leadership might actually be costing you.

What's the fastest way to lose trust on a team?

Inconsistency.
💬 Saying one thing.
🥳 Rewarding another.
✅️ Tolerating intentional inaction or wrong action

People don’t disengage because leadership is hard. They disengage because leadership becomes unpredictable.

Culture is built in the small moments:

🧐 What gets addressed.
🧐 What gets ignored.
🧐 What gets celebrated.
🧐 What gets repeated.

When coaching clients and engaging in culture walkthroughs, the conversation always highlights the fact that trust has eroded over time. It doesn't disappear over night. It's a slow burn.

The real question is:

If I asked your team what leadership really values, would they quote your words… or point to your patterns?

Drop “TRUST” in the comments if this one hit home.

If you're ready to do the real work of adult culture, grab some time on my calendar before you solidify those summer plans. My calendar is linked in the comments.

Some leaders think culture problems are people problems.

That's not always the case. What I've found through my work as a leader for over two decades is that most of the time, it's a clarity problem.

People can’t consistently meet expectations they were never clearly given. They can’t take ownership of moving targets.

Before you label someone “difficult,” ask yourself:

❓️ Did we make success clear?

❓️ Did we define what ownership looks like?

❓️ Did we build systems people can actually trust?

Because confusion creates behavior we often mislabel as resistance.

The real question is:

Are you correcting people… or confronting unclear leadership?

Drop a “CLARITY” in the comments if you’ve seen this happen.

If you're ready to ask the real questions as you plan for the summer, grab some time on my calendar and let's get to work.

This is the season when school leaders start asking the quiet questions…

Who is the right "fit"… and who have we simply gotten used to managing?

Some people may be great for kids, but disruptive to adult culture.

Summer planning exposes everything: Clarity. Ownership. Systems. Trust.

If you’re just moving people around without addressing the structures, you’re recycling the problem, not solving it. ♻️

The real question is:

❓️ Are you building the team your mission requires… or protecting the dysfunction your culture tolerates?

If this resonates and you're ready to do something about it. Grab some time on my calendar and let's talk about the real work. Calendar link in COMMENTS.

Leadership alignment can't be outsourced. It has to be built.

Organizations that are intentional about leadership development are creating structured opportunities for leaders to examine how they show up, make decisions, and engage with others.

Tools don’t replace leadership. They support leaders in doing the work consistently.

This is why leadership teams are integrating structured self-awareness practices into their meetings and development.

Order the Self-Awareness Anchor Cards for yourself and for your team to use in one-on-one coaching with those they support.

One of the most powerful moments in coaching is when a leader sees something about themselves they hadn’t fully said out loud before.

Not because they were told, but because they were allowed the space to examine it.

This is how many coaches and leadership teams are using the Self-Awareness Anchor Cards.

Not to give advice, but to create awareness.

Awareness changes how leaders see themselves, which changes how they lead others.

There’s a moment in the Exodus story we don’t talk about enough.

Not when the waters roll back, but the moment before that. The pressure is high and there are a lot of voices in the atmosphere.

The future is hard to imagine, and before anything changes in the situation, Moses is told to stand firm.

Most leadership and life challenges aren’t strategy problems. They’re alignment moments that prepare us for the assignments our future will bring our way.

When what used to work no longer fits, it’s usually a sign that growth is required, not more effort.

That’s why I created Anchored Foundations: A Red Sea Journey.
This is a four-week, faith-rooted experience to help leaders:

• Recognize emotional patterns
• Strengthen self-management
• Reflect on how God has shaped their story
• Move forward with clarity instead of reaction

If you’re in a season of transition, this may be your Red Sea moment.
